Every June, the fields of Sonoma Lavender bloom...Just as the buds begin to open, they are harvested to preserve the lasting lavender color and scent for products and bouquets. The oil in lavender's small, blue violet flowers gives the herb its fragrant scent and has been used for aromatherapy and spa treatments for centuries for its calming effects on the body and spirit...we also like to use it for cooking California Cuisine!
